🌟 Who are you most influenced by?
Passionate and creative people who empower others to be the best version of themselves.
💡What is one piece of advice you find yourself constantly sharing with your clients?
Design with the end goal in mind. It’s easy to get caught up in the day to day operations, but by taking the end goal in mind you ensure that whatever you are doing will create the most value. Whether it is strategically and intentional choosing and IP strategy for your portfolio growth or elucidating the business question behind an IP analytics analysis. Time spent up-front pays dividends.
👍How do you add value to your clients?
It really starts with listening. By listening and understanding a client’s goals, I think ahead to ways I can proactively help clients achieve their goals and objectives. Once I understand them, I can then lean-in and get it done. Simply put, where I add value with our clients is making IP strategy and management easy, and effortless; our clients are busy, and having us as a trusted partner to help them implement an IP strategy that aligns with their business objectives is paramount.

😍 What is your favourite type of client engagement?
By far it’s a VIPMâ„¢ engagement. I like being a part of the client’s team and learning more about their business. VIPM gives me the opportunity to work with clients on a continuous basis to design and implement a dynamic IP strategy. I help them achieve not only their IP goals but also their business objectives. In working with VIPM clients over the years, it’s so gratifying when a witness a client reaching or exceeding their business goals such as financing, acquisition, licensing deals, etc… as a result of proactive IP strategy management.

Why?
She takes a very pragmatic/interesting view on interpersonal relationships and the evolution of roles/expectations over time. She comes from a background in couples therapy but has moved to talk about workplace dynamics and it’s great!
⛔️ What’s one of the biggest obstacles you’ve had to overcome as it relates to your career?
We all are faced with having to do more with less. I’d say coming together and knowing that we have such a great team to help our clients achieve their business goals. It can sometimes be a puzzle on how to best optimize it, but it’s so rewarding.

🧐 If there is one thing you hope your clients gain from working with you, what would you want it to be?
Confidence in results and convenience. Like I said before, our VIPM service is all about creating peace of mind when it comes to IP strategy and IP protection. If nothing else, I hope my clients find ease IP strategy management and gain confidence in the acquired results from their IP strategy.
