Stratford client ThinkRF, has announced it has raised $5 million in additional funding.

President and CEO of Stratford Managers, Jim Roche, is currently engaged as ThinkRF’s President and CEO, as part of Stratford’s CEO Advisory and Support Services. His appointment with ThinkRF was made in late 2016, in a move to continue building the company’s momentum as the leader in software-defined spectrum analysis.

We are pleased to have achieved this key funding milestone, enabling us to further disrupt the market. This funding builds on our recent momentum, including our collaboration with Keysight Technologies, the world’s leading electronic measurement company, which opens new opportunities for our products.

Existing investor Wesley Clover International, one of the leading technology investment and management firms in Canada and beyond, led the financing round and was joined by new private investors. The money will be used by ThinkRF to execute the next phase of the company’s business strategy, which includes expanding into key new geographic and vertical markets.

Jim began his career as a founding member of Newbridge Networks where he helped grow the company to over $1B in annual revenue. He then co-founded Tundra Semiconductor, took it public and, as President and CEO, achieved double-digit average annual revenue and profit growth and over $1.5B in market value.

More recently, he founded Stratford Managers, a leading management consulting and services firm that helps innovative organizations achieve their ambitions.
