What’s the value of an IP strategy to investors? Craig asked this question to Natalie during the interview and she remarked:
“In the case of SaaS companies, trade secrets are really important and need to be managed. So investors will be looking for not only patents, but trade secrets and also trademarks which are super important.”
As both an IP expert and an investor Natalie was able to provide advise from both sides of the investment equation.
