Holding its grand opening ceremonies on October 28, Hub350 welcomed guests to its new space at 350 Legget Drive in Kanata North to celebrate the co-working space. The 12,000-square-foot space is being billed as the physical gateway for Canada’s largest technology park, where tech talent will have a place to converge and explore opportunities to live, work, play and learn.
Announced by the Kanata North Business Association in January of 2021, the former Mitel office offers co-working spaces and a venue for the 540 companies and their 24,000-plus employees in the tech park to collaborate.
A Space for Business to Grow and Connect
The Hub350 facility will bring together a range of partners including private companies, regional government bodies and educational institutions such as Carleton University, University of Ottawa, Queen’s University and Algonquin College - allowing for co-op placements, recruitment and specialized training — and to investors so that entrepreneurs can get their ideas off the ground. The goal is to connect members of the technology park to a wide range of resources that will support their continued growth.
“In addition to that, we’ve brought so many world-class partners to the centre that are here to roll up their sleeves and support these companies on their continued growth and momentum.” - Jamie Petten, President and Executive Director of the Kanata North Business Association.
Stratford is proud to be an Associate Corporate Sponsor of Hub350. Anchor sponsors include TELUS, RBC, Salesforce and post secondary institutions University of Ottawa, Carleton University, Algonquin College and Queen’s University.
