Stratford Management Consulting is featured in the Ottawa Business Journal in an article titled: "Getting the Ottawa Board of Trade off on the right foot"

When Ottawa’s three chambers of commerce merged in 2018 to create a single Board of Trade, it marked a brand-new beginning, one that would require a new business plan.

The OBJ recently spoke to the Ottawa Board of Trade about their work with Colleen Kelley and her team's role in creating a new strategic plan for the organization, one that would have optimal impact over the next three years.

In the article, Ottawa Board of Trade president and CEO, Sueling Ching says of the decision to bring Stratford onboard:

“Right from the beginning, the Stratford team expressed a desire to align with our goals. They balanced respect and professionalism with the confidence to challenge our assumptions and biases, including my own. The result was a stronger plan than I had expected, and a validation of our mission, vision and values.”

Stratford Management Consulting is focused on providing organizations with business strategy and operations support to help navigate times of growth, reorganization and transformation.

In the case of the OBoT, it resulted in a new strategic plan with clear pillars, priorities and performance measures. Ching is certain the Ottawa Board of Trade is now well-positioned to serve the best interests of its vast membership for years to come.
