Sales performance expert, Martin Comber, joins Stratford Managers as leader of sales practice and VP Sales

Sales performance expert assumes leadership of Sales Practice

Ottawa, ON, April 28, 2014 – Stratford Managers Corporation, the management consulting firm that turns strategy into performance, today announced that well-known sales competency consultant Martin Comber has joined the firm to lead its Sales Practice as VP Sales.

Over his extensive career, Martin has served as sales performance coach for over 5000 sales professionals around the world for companies like Cisco Systems, Alcatel-Lucent, Symmetricom, Extreme Networks, and Alstom. He has led the design, development and implementation of numerous strategic account management programs to improve profitability and increase share of spend results for companies including Lilly and Capgemini. He has also implemented opportunity management programs at such companies as Vanguard Financial and BCE, resulting in sales growth, improved win rates and optimal return on sales investment.

Prior to joining Stratford Managers, Martin was Managing Partner – Sales Practice Lead at NewLeaf Partners, a global business performance improvement consultancy. From 1999 to 2002, Martin served as Managing Partner, Multi-Channel Services at Siebel Systems where he led the implementation of sales transformation initiatives for clients in North America. From 1996 to 1999, Martin served as a senior consultant for ON Target a global sales consultancy. Martin began his sales career with Bell Canada and Telus.
