OTTAWA, Ontario, June 18, 2015 – Stratford Managers Corporation announced today the expansion of its Intellectual Property (IP) services practice and strengthening of its presence in the Greater Toronto Area. Intellectual Property experts Elaine Johnson and Damian Kraemer have joined the company’s IP practice in Ottawa and Toronto respectively, with combined expertise in pharmaceutical and biotechnology, aerospace, nuclear technology and electronic displays.

Elaine Johnson has diverse experience in biopharma research and intellectual property. During her career she has been involved in product development, clinical research and marketing. She has worked within and led numerous teams, and has served as technical advisor to a variety of companies ranging from start-ups to multinational companies. Elaine is a registered Patent Agent in both Canada and the United States, and holds a Ph.D. in Membrane Transport from the University of Manchester.
Damian Kraemer combines excellent technical knowledge, legal expertise and an insightful strategic sense to provide effective, efficient and timely advice to clients of all sizes, with a particular emphasis on small and medium sized enterprises. In addition to being a registered Canadian Patent Agent, Damian is a licensed member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, having earned both a J.D. and a Masters in IP Law from the University of Toronto, and an M.S. from Caltech.
