We are delighted to announce that Dean Fulford, Practice Lead of Leadership Development at Stratford, will be speaking on the topic of Managing Time and Priorities on February 16 at an educational lecture offered through the Ottawa Construction Association.
In an increasingly virtual world, how do we maximize our time and ensure we are being efficient in managing our priorities? Dean's presentation will address:
- Communicating with distributed teams, and how this may contribute to time management challenges
- The underlying causes of your time management issues
- Basic strategies for improving your time effectiveness: your own work habits and how you efficiently organize work interaction
- Approaches to reduce the “distance” between your team members

About the Speaker, Dean Fulford:
A senior human resources leader with experience in all aspects of HR vision, strategy and implementation, Dean has applied his background to many facets of the businesses he’s worked with. He has done consulting in organization development and effectiveness, performance consulting and process improvement in both small and large organizations, and bringing solutions that provide immediate impact while enabling sustained organizational impact.
Dean has led the implementation of operations review practices in HR departments, bringing a unique skill set and approach to human resources leadership driving pragmatic, metrics-driven solutions. He is also a certified human resource leader (CHRL) and licensed professional engineer.
He specializes in HR strategy, employee engagement to drive effective operational processes, and talent management.
